Description

It is raining, windy and cold at the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum in Reading, Pennsylvania. It is the World War II weekend, but there is no flying and all the aircraft are buttoned down, including this North American B-25 'Mitchell'. This picture was taken on 5 June 2009. Thank you for viewing and commenting, Sig...

the b25 was a huge mother isee . i only know it from the panzer general games and it had always a devastating load onboard. must be a fine feeling to see one live.

There is nothing quite so forlorn-looking as an aircraft, stuck on the ramp, unable to fly...

What a shame the weather was so bad on this day that there was no flying. At least you got a great shot of this plane.

Wonderful capture Sig. It sure looks like a heavy plane. Weather gives it some atmosphere. Aloha

I thought you'd been up here and hadn't told me! LOL! This is a great shot, and you've totally captured the feeling of being rained out. I love the light, and the reflection in the standing water on the tarmac.

Agree, if you took off the blue tarp and erased the background buildings......It's 1944.

@debbielove. I actually liked the rainy day. It reminded me of Germany, Great Britain etc. It also made a nice realistic shot with very few people wandering along the flightline and spoiling any pictures on may take.
