Just an interesting headstone taken at a cemetery. One of the many at Mt. Carmel.

a very fine interplay between the statue (and its delicate pathos) and those painterly white leaves behind. It's as if the forest around put on whites in honor of the dead. And the contrast of those leaves---here given to us as if they were visions as much as leaves---and the stone, is striking. Very thoughtful work, and a nice vision of the spirit inside a cemetery. Fine work once again.
