Description

I went out in the early morning to one of Boulder City Nevada's City Parks, just outside Las Vegas yesterday and shot this Ewe Ram and her suitor. You can see to the left there is another Ram. The Ewe is spraying her scent for the ram behind her who is really driven wild by her musk. The ram to the left will come over, shove this poor fellow out of the way, then drop a load of manure atop of her scent she has left on the ground signifying that this lady is one of his, and in a week or so there will be fights as they go into a rut because the females are about to come into season. If you are into Wild Life, the full size image is 1200X2000 pixels. I hope you enjoy this image as much as I did shooting it.

Rams running free in a park during rutting season? There is a lawsuit waiting to happen. This looks like the makings of a pretty good barbecue.
