Every once in a while I get these crazy urges to create happy and soft fae style images :-) Usually it happens when I am in a long series of battle works; my mind just seems to need a break from all the conflict. I start getting visions like these and they just need to get out. It's the Nature's Daughters calling out for their turn at my creative canvas!
The other day while scanning the galleries I came across a delightful artist named Finnerman. I was immediately struck by the soft beauty of her compositions and how she has such a different, delicate approach to her works than mine, which tend to be sharp, hard and rather vivid. She had so many fine images but two that really struck me were "The Beauty of Nature" and "Iris"
From her work I got a little urge that I thought I could satisfy in a few hours work. Ha! Two days later I am finally uploading "The Fall Fae," which I want to dedicate to Finnerman. If you love the soft side of Nature's Daughters go spend some time in her gallery.

this is a feel good image, the dragons look happy, she looks happy and the warm tones throughout the image make you feel warm and safe... the bird is a wonderful detail to add the fae is part of the scenery and looks like she belongs very nice critical comment.....(he draws breath and squints his eyes) no critical comment :) lovely image friend well done Carl

This is just beautiful! I love it! Her expression is perfect and natural! What a magical place. The colors are stunning! I know Finnerman for quite some time. We met at Candikis' forum. Her work is indeed beautiful and very consistent. She has that style for softness and tenderness in her images. Beautiful dedi. I love it when other artists inspire other artists. Super wonderful work here!
