Description
Stepped right into the middle of one of these as I walked along the beach dunes. Not fun!! So I shot em--with my camera!!

don't you just hate these things??? They always find their way over the bottom of my flip flops to attack the soft skin on the sides of my feet. Great macro!

I find this to be an immensely prickly subject! Okay...bad puns aside...WOW! It looks like you were right in the thick of it when you made this picture! I love it too. Great details. It's funny though, when I looked at the thumbnail, it could almost have been something like dandelion fluff for the way that it looked, and I'll bet stepping in it makes you wish it was! I like it immensely though, great details and color!
