I think that this will be my last upload for a while, I am offically fed up with my art, I think it's cheesy and boring and I need to try something else out for a while. I might only be gone for a couple of days..you know me, can't stand to be away for long:-) Don't forget me while I'm gone please:-)

Well firstly you don't get to be nominated as Artist of the Month if you are producing boring and cheesy works. So the evidence on that part is against you. On the other hand I agree with Dr. Carl, and it really is only for you to judge if you are happy with where you are. Sometimes when I am feeling shitty about what I am doing I just spend time going through the galleries and taking the time to really study some interesting works. And the other thing, and others have said, is to go through some tutorials or take an on-line class - push yourself in some techniques that you haven't tried before. But whatever you do, do it for you.

I totally agree with DrCarl. Your art is magnificent. I truly love your images with the horses in them. Take a break from it all and then come back, watch for a while or just try something completely different. I don't post here for comments and only comment and fave those images I truly like. I do this for myself, my satisfaction. I enjoy doing this and every once in a while I need something new to inspire me. That totally works for me. I get new content and my imagination starts working again. I did take a break from it totally when I went away. I usually would lug my laptop and create during my holiday! Not this time! I came back feeling much better and started creating again. I work all day so the time I spend creating is minimal. The girl in this image is indeed sad, don't worry your inspiration will come back.This portrait is very pretty.
