I uploaded an earlier version of this book cover. I thought I had finished. The editor and author wanted more. This has been two months + work. Yes, it started as 3D Max. But at this point it's more Photoshop work than otherwise. This has taken more than 100 layers all told. And some painting and special effects finagling to get magic. The cat is 5 layers by herself. And yes, I know she looks a little weird, but I wanted her to. The butterfly effect around the woman's (she is the Jada-Drau) was a real challenge. I didn't get any comments on the other post of this. Have I been gone THAT long that people don't remember me? Sheesh. But aside from some finagling with color balance and maybe some HDR, this is the final version. And I have to admit it. As much of a pain in the ass as this was, I'm starting to really love it.
