Description
Dream-Morpheus raised an eyebrow at the elder God, "I take it this is about a woman...?"
"No,no--not just any woman. She is...decidedly dark--of course gorgeous--with a grasp of the finer details of life--and death--that astound me..."
"But why do you need my assistance Thonos--you have rarely desired aid in that department before. That is--unless. No! She is a mortal?"
"Indeed..." Thonos stood and began to pace. "The Universal council would never allow it. But--there are ways around the laws..."
Morpheus looked pained, "You ask much of me cousin..."
Thonos nodded, smiled darkly, "And I am prepared to pay your price."
Dream stood, weighed, pondered and was admittedly intrigued...
