Description

Not far from my home there is some huge development building construction going on. Here there was a bycicle factory twenty years ago. When it closed the powers-that-be let the area stay immobile until the Industrialists Union and the University started to build. For some years there was a mixture of new buildings and old ones as well as impoverished areas full of trash and derelict people, while the administration decided whether this had to become the new center of the town, and whether the Trade Fair was to be moved from here or not. It looks that the price of the areas still to be built is rising, after years of slumping. Thus they started to build very fast. I took this shot some weeks ago almost at twilight. Thanks for your kind comments.

Foto interessante a cui l'ora tarda dona una bella atmosfera con la luce rosata tipica del momento !Molto aggiunge la figura di donna che passa , ignorando il tutto !

Wonderful photo Sandra, and you did such a great job in describing the importance this fence has and what it represents for this area. It is my hope that it can come back to life once more.
