Description

We, my mom and I, have had the worst luck with Clematis and their flowers. This photo was taken today to commemorate the first bloom on the newer plant that mom and I both thought had died. We think that there may be another bloom happening soon. we'll keep you all posted. Thank you and have a great weekend! MIke

I can't grow them, either. I read their roots need shade, but the rest of the plant needs sun? I dunno... but this is a beautiful capture.

Never surrender, never give up! :) A very beautiful flower. The only thing that blooms in my garden is bindweed (a member of the morning glory family - it has beautiful white flowers, but it also strangles everything else in the garden and will rip your siding off if you let it).

flowers have been fighting to hang in there this year... just heard on the weather that it has snowed this early in Colorado in the past, so anything can happen with the snow.... we've been hitting above 90 in the day and the last few night it's gotten down to the 40s.
