Description

Last night, at 8:20, I was outside on the porch taking shots of a deer across the road (that picture will be posted later) I looked up at the darkening sky and saw the contrails shining with the last rays of the sun and I took this shot! A very interesting, yet a very difficult picture to take. If you haven't tried taking a picture of the full moon yet...there's a challenge for you. The challenge is to get good detail on the moon's surface without having the moon look like a bright, flat disk. Suggestion, if you reduce your ISO to 800 or less (if your camera permits), you will get a lot less noise (graininess).
