Have you ever wondered where fairy dust comes from?
I don't, I know.
Fairy dust is produced by morning glories. That's why the centers glow. Here you can clearly see the fairy dust on the petals. The fairy who was collecting from this flower in the wee hours of the morning was not very careful at all, and spilled some. Perhaps it is because I startled her and she was hiding near by or maybe she was a very young fairy. I am not sure but it gave me a great shot of the dust. I cropped in closer for a really good view.
My morning glories were very purple this year and I have a lot of them!
