Description

Hi there. My neighbors daughter brought me this larva 2 days before I start to a education camp in Munich. My older daughter said that she will feed her and so I took some shots and leave her alone. As I came back from Munich my daughter sadly said that the larva's skin changed to an unusual yellow-brown color and she will not eat anything since 2 days. She told me that she did everything for her comfort and thought that she now kill her. I calm her down and explained that larvae always change the color when they ready for pupation. I gave the larva some ground to pupate in and she changed to a pupa. I hope the Lime Hawk-moth (Mimas tiliae) will emerge next spring, let's see... The Elephant-Hawk-Moths are pupated also and on last Saturday I took some shots. I will show you next time. Have all a great start into week and thank you all for stopping by and take time to view and comment. By the way - I will do my first exhibition in our local musical school this autumn. 15 of my best shots in HQ-Prints on 40x50cm. It feels like I got many of my favorite models in my stomach...
