Description
Hi there.
On a walk with the family my daughter found this caterpillar of a White Ermine(Spilosoma lubricipeda).
I managed some shots and let her go her way to pupate. I'm a bit sad I got no box or glass with me to carry her home :)

WOW! Amazing shot! Like you, I'm sad that you had no way to take this beauty home. I recently acquired a few mosquito larvae and I'm quite keen to try and capture them as they pupate. They're a bit...um...well fed, so their metamorphosis might occur rather soon. But back to this lovely little pipe cleaner! WOW! I love that fuzz. It's funny how that hair irritates skin, but it looks so hilarious...like Rasputin of the insect world!
