here you go friends....I can't thank you enough for all your help with poser... it is no longer a bitch.....I am coming around.
I have not pulled a portrait off like this in Daz before... I am seeing the light. I can see that I will still be using Daz for my moody dark stuff and it excels at that, but for crisp light and detail, 2 days into poser and I am blown away.

Once you get the hang of the lights it's doubtful you will return to DAZ anymore. A very nice image here even sans hair. And you are doing very well with the lighting for sure. Only thing I have a problem with is remembering to set the render engine from default to what I really want. };-)

Expanding your talents!...look out!!!....I agree with Tholian, poser is superior to daz in many ways....I don't think you will look back!....can't wait to see you break in Poser!!!

Lol, indeed no nudity tag ! The lighting is perfect and the face and skin are photo-realistic even without hair ;-) The eyes are fantastic but what I like the most is the lips ... One reason more for me to follow your progress is reading the discoveries and comments you share with us ... And, in reading that one, as I love dark scenes, I think I will go on with Daz but in seeing that amazing portrait, I think I shall just try Poser ...

She is beautiful. Lighting is great. Once you have a look under the hood and see the power of Poser Pro there will be no going back to DAZ not even for your mood pieces.Roxy knows that material room inside out and is a great teacher. She does beautiful work with poser 7. Can hardly wait until she breaks open Poser Pro. Your a quick study. Happy rendering and welcome to the other side.

We have recruited a new member over to our Poser click? Is this so? Hehe All that matters is that you enjoy yourself using whichever program is comfortable to you. I started out with Daz Studio and gradually went into Poser. I have Poser 8 now and Poser Pro 2010 is on it's way! I love many of the renders that Daz produces but for the life of me I can't get it to work properly. Many people use different programs when creating an image. I myself use two. :) You may find yourself going back and forth, It's good do that. Daz has made a huge effort to improve that program and the renders are great. You can keep up with the updates and improvements for that program. I wish I had stuck with it. There are many plug-ins for it and all that confuses me.I'd say stick with using both. Alas, I have Daz Studio 3 Advanced, and there it sits. For now I will continue using Poser until I find the time to make Daz work on my system! Great image and beautiful textures.
