Description

Hello once again... Hope you all had an eventful Labor Day Weekend! Been busy in the model factory once again trying to attempt yet another model from days gone by.This time I took a shot at creating Jan Michael Vincents Semi used in the movie White Line Fever. This was a challenge to say the least...not very many reference photo's to find on the internet to compare to being the fact that the movie was from 1976..But I didn't let that discourage me.So with out further babbling... here is my version of the 1974 Ford WT9000 used in the movie. Thanks for the views and comments and remember...An imagination is a terrible thing to waste...so get creating!! -Will-

I never saw the movie, but this is great looking model to me, just the same! Love the way you've included Jan Michael Vincent's picture in the corner. Nicely done.

you really seem to like that actor man. i myself find it starnge that he was never the blockbuster, but in these times it was not soo easy as now. now you go into a casting show, scratch your balls talk dumb and the next day you have a movie or a record contract. or in art:if you have the right conections you could take a photo from your morning dump in different angles and post t and everyone says terriffic.hehehe. i got carried away here i see way off from the highway. the car looks awesome.i never drove in my life,i am slightly psychotic/paranoisd in cars ,but it must be a truckers "mental orgasm" to hear a fine fat rumbling engine.

Hi Will, I most certainly remember the movie as a matter of fact at the time my neighbor owned a trucking company, this to say that he owned a number of these trucks. You really created a fine 3D model of this beauty, including the paint job. Tell Vinny he did well. As for Jan Michael Vincent, I liked the dude, he had a cool style. I don't know why he never really made it to the big time. I'm going to Google this subject today see what I can find out you've peaked my interest my man. Once again super job. George

I actually got the chance to meet him years ago, me and a friend use to go to work with her mom at the studios and while we were there we were helping with this contest they were having for a movie so because of all our help we were invited to go to the premiere in Hawaii wooohoo and to meet him what a thrill the movie was called Big Wednesday it was about surfing I don't remember much about the movie now more about Hawaii lol. Great work on this.
