Description
Tis the season once again folks..
Wanted to try and recreate my grandpa's pumpkin patch that I enjoyed so much when I was little..Every year he would grow this section in our garden and put me in charge of rotating and maintaining these orange globes so they could be given a good home for the little kids that ventured in.Of course I always had the 1st choice from the hundreds that grew and usually grabbed the 1 that stood out the most.Never saw the Great Pumpkin or snoopy and his Sopwith Camel flying over but hey..it never hurts to dream and use your imagination.Well anyway I tried to recreate this to the best of my artistic ability and was satisfied enough to post what I came up with.So here's another from my Fall Gallery created for you to enjoy. Thanks for your comments, views, and fav's..Keeps me wanting to create...

Very awesome memories for sure. My grampa passed away when I was 9 but I sure remember him. My gramma is 98 and still kicking, poor lady is to stubborn to do anything else:-) I really love the feel of this image, and there is allot in it...wonderful work. And yes, its that time of year again...but it will be over as soon as it always is...just doesn't feel it some years. :-)

Interesting story Will, I had a cucumber patch to manage go figure. Actually ran away from home at the mature age of 3 years old straight to the patch. (I have a black and white picture to prove it, believe or not) My grandparents told me the story when I got a little older. That was a long long time ago. You see my man I was always the strong silent type....he-he-ha-ha. Cool image with lots of atmo., love the light. George
