Description

Captured 1/15/08, shortly after the break of dawn, within walking distance of my congenial condominium complex. It's quite a stretch viewed full size. Every so often I like to post one of these shots of my shadow, taken during late December or early January, when the sun hangs very low over the horizon. Sayonara, thankx for looking in, and for any and all complimentary comments and favs.

Rainastorm: I'm standing on paved asphalt. It looks like loose gravel because of the low angle of the sun reflecting off of the rough surface.

Looks like you'd have a time finding trousers with enough leg room! What a great capture--I love that light quality!

I love the long shadows at the end of the day. (I'm sure I would love the ones shortly after the break of dawn too, but I don't see them very often.) Daddy Long Legs indeed! Fred Astaire (5'9") was no giant either. Now you need a Leslie Caron peering through a window. I like the change of the color of the pavement going to a golden glow around your head. (A sign of your angelic nature, no doubt!) Excellent capture!
