Description

God, so much is happening to everyone, I couldn't stay away without giving you my wishes. (I've been unable to return because of health, but the least I can do is say this) (deep breath now:) Corey (CoreyBlack) is having an operation Monday, and my deepest wishes to him---get better friend, and soon!. And Dave (elfin12u)---accdg to his wife Cheri (elfin14doaks)---is having surgery soon: My wishes go out for a speedy recovery. May you both be playing for the Packers by January! (Ok, that's a little steep...) (The Packers are a football team, in case you're not from Wisconsin...) And I see that one of you underwent several days of "hell": I hope it's over for you, my friend, and that whatever happened won't return... Then...some of you battle illness everyday: I know how hard it is for you: how each day must be started afresh, with new resolve, new dedication...Well, despite my meager correspondence, please know how much I wish for you: May the sunlight warm you to the toes & spread healing & comfort through your lives. Then...some of you are caring for others, or have recently: I know how hard you've worked: Just know you are not alone, you're remembered & wholly appreciated! Let the sun warm you to the toes. (If I'm not giving names, it's because I don't know who wants to be mentioned.) May this season bring you relief & uplift like a waterfall... And...some of you have left RR, a few totally: I hope you're doing well, that your hearts are at peace (those who left in pain), and your crises are getting lighter everyday. Much sunlight to you, and joy too! And then there's a big wedding coming up! (Not sure how public that is, so I'll let them speak for themselves...it's a big deal!) And the birthday people? I just can't upload when I'm ill, so you've gotten "private" images instead. And I'll continue to do them 'till I return. Know I haven't forgotten... And finally, dedis: I haven't forgotten them, there are more coming! I just need more time as I'm moving like a snail right now... And to everyone: Forgive that I haven't commented, I simply haven't had the energy. But I see everything, in fact I've had a private gallery-show for several months now, and it's made me the happiest voyeur in the world! And: It's ok if you don't comment on me: Just know that I wish you all the very best. That's all that's important here!
* * * A wonderful new season to all and thank you for your patience & inspiration! Love, light & lots of healing your ways, Mark (A planter on Dearborn Street, dawn, Chicago.)

Well done Mark. I read through all you remarks and wishes above and find myself thinking...yes, yes, I know who he means! This in turn brings me to think about each person, joining you in wishing them quick recovery or improved health or strength to overcome or patience or persistence or good luck in new ventures or many happy returns... We all draw strength from each other in this community. We challenge. We inspire. We demonstrate. We discuss. We feel good. Once in awhile we get hot under the collar. We see things differently then we did before. We look forward to checking bots, to seeing the words, "site mail", turn white, to posting our latest creation...be it a photographic image, a 2D piece, a poem, a short story, a long story, a Poser, DAZ, Vue, 3D,__ (fill in the blank) piece. We learn. Your basket of greenery and light says it all. WE are all green, fertile and growing. AND that sure beats the alternative;-) Thanks Mark for helping us look at and appreciate each other and all that we have here. Strength and light to you. Look forward to your return my friend.

The backlighting glow is magnificent and one of my favorite techniques. Green is a such a vibrant & living color. Thanks for dropping in and prayers for your recovery and all those mentioned and unmentioned in our hearts. Happy Rosh Hashana!

I love all that green spilling down and blossoming into light. You have such a gift for capturing the light in everyone and everything with your words, music, and art, and though I've been away, I'm not gone, just admiring from afar. It was a pleasure to return to your gallery today and read your caring words to your friends and extended family here. You give and have given so much to others and now it's time to take care of yourself. I hope you find peace and quiet and much healing soon. Get well.

Mark, How wonderful to see you here again. You couldnt have posted a better image, than this wonderful shiny and beautifully green photograph. I just love it. And I so love your warm words to all the people in here that need to be better and maybe need a bit of comfort. You just say it so beautifully. I will join you in the best wishes for all the sick people in RR and I hope you will be better very soon too. Hugs.

Mark, it is such a thrill to see you back today my friend. Your return was just what was needed for so many here as it's easy to see the loving response your getting instantly from this dedi. Speaking of this dedi, you did a brilliant job on not just the photo but also in selecting this image to represent your thoughts on what is transpiring right now. Your dedication and prayers to those in need now really moved me so much Mark. No matter what is going on in your own life it's clear that you save some energy back for those you love just in case. You are the one who is spilling over with love and compassion for your friends, and are like a gift from the Heavens that so many needed at this time.

Mark thank you, I promise to make sure Dave gets the rest he needs to heal and we are not going to let him re-injure it or damage it while he is healing. We are still waiting on the doctor to schedule it. I will post when we know, but the MRI is certain , it's time for surgery. Wow, I didn't know about Corey. If you know what hospital, please let me know. For the artist who have left, it's so sad to see any artist go from our community. I think we have one of the greatest communities on the web. I love RR. I know I haven't been able to be here often. I get here when I can and I love to romp though, although I don't always leave comments. Well wished to all here. Mark, please take care of yourself. You know we love you.

Stellar backlighting employed to bring out the gorgeous and lustrous varying colors of green in this sensational capture, Mark! Good to have you back; I've often wondered about your situation in your absence. Sorry about your upper respiratory condition, my friend. Here's hoping you make a complete and rapid recovery.

It is so wonderful to see you posting again and I do hope your health returns to normal soon. Sometimes it takes a while to see the light at the end of the tunnel but keep with it, my thoughts are with you. This is a wonderful capture with the flowing green tendrils and the super lighting and your thoughtfulness of everyone here when you aren't feeling the best yourself is very moving, it makes me glad to be a part of RR.

I love the light spilling through the foliage, so typical of you: light and growth, with a hint of colour in the fringes. And your words are, as always, sheer joy to read. You manage to reach out to so many people with so few well chosen words. RR is a wonderful place, all the better for your poignant reminders of what we have here... It's so good to see you back, but I'm very sad to hear about your health. Wishing you a speedy and full recovery.

I just love Karma, don't you? You've given so many of us so much of yourself, and today we get to give you back a little bit of that! Reading through all the comments here, there's a lot of love coming right back at you! And wishes .. all my good wishes are aimed at you right now .. so HEAL .. HEAL .. HEAL! When I saw the thumbnail .. I thought "OH! Mark has posted one of his gorgeous light paintings!" and it is, isn't it? the light caught your eye, and how fortuitous that your camera was right there in your hand! Even your photos look like those fabulous paintings you post .. I swear you use light and not colors to paint with. Even the artistry of your words glow with light! It's just so wonderful to see TWO posting from you!

You have no idea how many times I have positioned myself before your beautiful image, read your caring words, set the cogs in my brain into motion, positioned my fingers over the keyboard, and been interrupted. (I'm not totally sure either, but I think it is five.) On the bright side, it means I have opened your image repeatedly and that is a very good thing. Your image and words bring light and life with them. I see it reflected in all the comments above. I hope you are getting the rest you need and are daily feeling stronger and stronger. I once stood under the branches of a huge willow tree in England. The trunk was to my back, the branches made a complete tent around me. I looked through the veil of green to the world beyond, hidden but seeing all through a green curtain. Your image and your words made me think of that moment. I love the shadow and light, the long lines of the stems, and the blazing white of the leaves caught in the sunlight. Perfect title and gorgeous image! Love and light, rest and healing to you.
