My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Wow, the back of this flower is as pretty as the front. What a lovely shot, and a great story. I'm thankful the 81 year old lady stood her ground and won the battle. Hooray for little ol' ladies!

That is a wonderful story. Sometimes the backside of a flower is as interesting as the front side.

Great photo, like the title. The sepals are more interesting than the beautiful petals! I like to hear about people resisting the destruction often caused by the march of progress.
