Description
This is one of the meadows I mentioned yesterday. The oak overhanging the top of the shot is at least 300 years old, and still as strong as it ever was! The tree in the distance atop the hill is not falling to the left, as could be supposed. It is growing in that direction due to the winds which on occasion whip across the hillsides here with terrific force. Actually, that tree isn't fairing too badly. Some wind driven specimens are almost horizontal, yet they still survive!
Obviously 'the Barney' had to put himself in the picture! He had heard a rabbit over the ridge and seconds later was chasing after it! Thing is, if it actually turned round and faced him, he'd freak out! He hasn't the 'hunting' nature - anything but! ^=^
Now I'm off to see if I can sort out camera! Something's amiss! As dear old Larry Grayson was so fond of saying, "oh what a gay day!" And this is certainly going to be! ^=^
Thank you for taking the time to look. ^=^

A haunting image which could easily be part of a medieval tapestry. Super photo.

The tree reminds me of the one in the movie 'The Ring'!
