Description
Firstly I want to thank you all for being so supportive for Rainbow Bridge. Your heartfelt comments touched my heart so much, and I was so happy that it helped give a little comfort to so many.
Of course Liz (zil2008) and I also hope that anyone who has been worried about their cat as regards asthma, will take a look at the informative site www.felineasthma.org and understand that there is help out there.
CAUGHT IN THE MOONLIGHT, (A picture for the Kitten Adventures story I have in mind)
My dearest daughter Lisa, who has and is still going through a tremendous strain, in her life, but always has a smile for me, never ever complains, can always see the good in everyone, and so generous with those most loving hugs for me.
She shows great interest in my artwork and always glad to cast an eye over it. She sits on my bed for a much needed rest while I show her all my recent work on my pc. It is a joke now that when she leaves she makes sure I have my homework and looks forward to seeing it finished next time she visits.
I bless the day that Lisa came into my life, she is the most precious daughter a mother could ever wish for, I love you darling, and hope you like the final picture of the fairy that you have seen in so many guises over the past weeks, all my love, Mum xxxx

Excellent image! Wonderful textures and light! I love her beaded dress, the soft feathers of the bird, and the light in her hair. The kitten looks very intent. I'm sure he wouldn't attack the bird, but he may try a playful swipe at its tail if he got half a chance. Beautiful rays of moonlight coming through the trees. Gorgeous image and lovely dedication!

First, I'm very sorry your daughter is struggling so, and I wish that she find peace & wholeness through her whole being. And I'm sorry I've been away from your gallery so long...I've been off RR a long time (and I'm only here for one image per gallery for now). But to come back to your art is always a blessing, and this image is magical and illumined and beautiful. The young woman (or perhaps older child) seems dressed in vines of the earth; you've made her gown like vines all came together to make a 'dress' for her. Her wings are almost like silk, with the light coming through (a light weave silk); her hair is like her gown, like strands of life coming off her head; and her posture is as if she were a magician, making the light that shines down on her, and making that bird---who seems spun from light as much as flesh & feathers. The cat, though a photograph, melds in as if it were naturally part of the image; and its gaze is perfect for the piece. And the background is magical & fairy-tale-ish. You've woven some very different elements into one piece here, and they all flow as naturally as rain. Her gesture is one of wonder, as if she---who seems like the creator of this magic---can still be in wonder at how beautiful it is. I wish your daughter all the wholeness in the world, and the same for you too Jane. I'm sorry I've been gone (and will be still), but I have thought of you many times, and I hope you are doing as well as you can, each day. Much light, love & blessings to you as always; and know that it's a magical image and beautiful tribute to your daughter.
