Sarah cursed the cab driver for dropping her off at the wrong address. She had distinctly told him 207 Elmwood Street not 207 Elm street...she was on the otherside of town in the flat iron district. Sarah had asked the driver for a minute to check the address but he was in a hurry to get off duty wouldnt hear none of it. Sarah joked maybe to go home and eat a tv dinner and sit in front of the television till he fell asleep with his hands in his pants. Sarah looked around to see if any other cars were driving this way. Hopefully she could catch another cab and get to her destination, Silva was throwing a birthday party and had invite all her friends especially that cute guy Anton. Who knows maybe things might click between her and Anton..It had been a couple of months since she was single again..guys she sighed....Seeing no cars Sarah tried to read the street sign trying to get her bearings, worst case scenarion she would have to walk, but atleast she would get to Silvas party. A crash of bricks startled her as she jumped, her heart beating fast. Whos there Sarah cried out.. there was no answer...Sarah thought perhaps it was the wind.? Sarah hurried her steps as she walked what she hope was east.. A sound of scurrying behind her made her quicken her pace. Sarah eyes darted around her surroundings taking in any escape route she would have to use. A guttural snickering sounded behind her, turning around she saw nothing. Trying to be brave, Sarah called out "i am going to call a cop if you keep following me!" More snickering began to come all around her, but she couldnt make out who the culprits were. "Stop it you dumb asses" Sarah screamed in the darkness as she tried to find some direction to run. Picking a direction Sarah began to run, down a side street. In the distance Sarah saw a few cars go down the avenue she was running to, safety she thought. Sarah was almost out the alley when she felt a sharp hit on the head. Dazed she saw the alleyway begin to sway, and felt her legs buckle as she hit the pavement. Sarah saw pin pricks of light as she fought of the feeling of losing consciousness. Sound of scurrying was all around her as she tried to set herself up and see what was going on..that is when they came out of the dark ...Dozens of them all about the size of a child with greenlike skin and hairless. Their faces were like that of an old man but hideously disfigured. Sarah felt a hard thump on her head which help the pin pricks of light to win the battle as she fell into the darkness. Sarahs last conscious thoughts were she hoped the cab driver choked on his t.v. dinner...
