My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

Would it surprise you to know that one of my favorite color combinations is red and purple? ( I know, I need to learn to let go of my shyness!! lol) However, combos such as this are a treat to my eye as well.

First of all i would like to say thank you for your comments on my first post. I am happy to hear no one is offended. A bad choice for a user name i see that now but i was not trying to make myself out to be any dream man because i am far from that. My interest here is photography plain and simple. Now about your gallery..Incredible sums it all up into 1 word. What you have uploaded here is what i will try my best to do. I am a beginner and i do mean no experience and i have a relatively cheap camera. Once again thank you for showing me that i am welcome here.

When I think of favorite colors, I often think of quilts. My sister made a beautiful quilt top with a lot of green and peach, though there are other colors as well. I love the Amish combinations of deep red and turquoise against black. In nature, I love the combination of warm golden Cotswold limestone, or autumn reds and yellows, lit up against a charcoal gray sky. This color of rose has always been my favorite when going through rose catalogs. Unfortunately, except for my short time in England, I haven't lived in places that are congenial to roses. It was either too hot or Japanese beetles made quick work of them. Beautiful capture! Lovely color, clarity, and light!

A stunning Rose! Beautiful colouring, well taken as always.. Perfectly lit.. Well done Tara.. (Now, if you can find a BLACK Rose ... I WILL be impressed! There is one (a very deep Purple, I know..) Rob
