Description

They had been on this project for over 6 months and everything had gone wrong till a week ago. It had been young Igor who had stumbled upon a solution quite by accident. Not being able to read, he had never went to school because of all the problems with the other kids, and had doubled the wattage on the power sources. The good Doctor, Victor Von Frankenstein, was very pleased. He had successfully recreated his namesake, his Great, Great Grandfather's famous experiment. Now under the hot light, in the surgery-laboratory, the re-animated flesh of the creature was literally glowing from the extraordinary amount of electricity running through the huge man. "How is he,Doctor?" Igor asked. "Will he stay alive once we turn of the power?" Igor had a special interest in this being a success. He was hoping that Victor could transplant his mind into a healthy body and for the first time he would look normal. No more frightened looks from women and children. No more hate filled expressions on the face of the men. He might even take a wife once he was rid of this hunchback. "Yes, Igor, he will live from this time on and you will be happy to know that, unlike my ancestor's experiments, this creature will be intelligent. He will speak and reason like any man." Victor said proudly to his assistant. "Next time it will be you on this table. For your contributions to this experiment you deserve your hearts desire." Igor was indeed pleased upon hearing this. "Thank you kind Doctor. Thank you VERY much"

Another black and white "Sketch" style picture. I just wanted to try a modern "Frankenstein" story. Stark and colorless but with a happy outcome in this version. I guess they didn't use Abbie Normal's brain like in "Young Frankenstein" or is the creature going to be a killer like the original... this is an intelligent and well designed artificial man... Hope you like the story and picture... have a nice Friday and weekend .. stay healthy and safe and see you all on Monday........ gene

By the way, this is a work of pure fiction on my part. Any resemblance to the Shelly story is purely out of necessity due to the subject matter of the picture and should not be judged by the "Original". Now I can stop getting PM's that I am wrong and the original monster "Was intelligent" and lectures on how the Book version's Monster learned to talk.. Please note that I prefer NON CRITICAL comments and I mean even in private.. I just make these for fun, just to illustrate fiction that is mostly my own. If it resembles anything that is connected to anyones reality, it is purely coincidental... Shelly had her story version, I have mine.. please, no more lectures or attempts to educate me... even in private...
