Description

Did some more modeling again today, Been pretty much hard at it now for the past few days. Learning as I go along, very much trial and error I can tell you. Anyhow, I thought I'd sit down and model a more detailed pumpkin, something very deserving of halloween. This is what I down thus far. Doing the leaves had me stumped for ages believe it or not, for some reason I couldn't get my head round how to model them correctly. Think it's because I'm tired I guess. I'm still now 100% happy with them or the way they are constructed. I'll leave the image to do the rest of the talking for now, still so much to learn. I find my vision of images to be hard to replicate due to my lack of knowledge in Cinema. Must learn MORE! :) Thanks for taking the time to view Mike

I'm totally jealous of your skill and how fast you are learning! The stem is superb and the detail is great! The vines are especially excellent. I think the pumpkin itself needs a little 'personality' however. Just a few more dings or wrinkles. This is awesome and can't wait to see this package! I hope to see both jack-o-lanterns and plain ol pumpkins too!

Nice one, try to give the leaves a little thickness, and play around with bend-tool, so the will loose their paper-look. Excellent model!

You're doing fine....you could also try the magnet tool,to slightly 'form' your leaves. As for the pumpkin.....now that you have the basic shape down, you can make variations from that.C4D is awesome fun.

The stem has a real Tim Burton look to it's styling... you should continue this with the pumpkin main body... nice modeling!
