Description

Thought I would share a small piece of my vacation with you all. As the title indicates this is Beaver Brook Falls in Colebrook NH. This image was a bit of an experiment for me. I have always liked the blurred water effect I sometimes see in other peoples photos and decided to give it a try. I shrank down the aperture size to let in less lighting and lowered the shutter speed while resting the camera on top of a fence post. I took a total of three shots, each at a different shutter speed. I think this one came out the best. Hope you all like it. Thanks for you support through your comments, suggestions and favorites.

Mike, this looks great! You nailed the flowing water - just perfect! And what a beautiful place! I think I could just sit for hours listening to the water. Excellent, my friend! The only thing this needs is G4 in a bikini on that first level spot! LOL! Hope that tooth is doing better!

"Shrank down the aperture size and lowered the shutter speed"? You see I know what two buttons on my camera do, one turns the camera on, the other snaps the picture. The rest of the do-dads, and there arent that many, I have no idea what they do. Anyway outstanding pic Mike. There is so much there that just takes your breath away. There's no artist like the original artist. :)

Hon, this came out really good!! I remember all the shots we snapped of this beautiful spot...I loved the sound of the water, the coolness of the spot and the height of these falls. Truly a beautiful spot. Nice job!
