Description

I wanted to do a "blue" scene for some reason. The scene is all Bryce 7, two renders, one for the ice, sky and Explorer dude (same one as in - Explorer's Rock except this is a much brighter looking picture) then screened together in Paint Shop Pro. I'm thinking of doing a series with the same figure on different types of worlds. The ice cliff is a lattice painted in the editor; the Explorer Dude is Major Cache plus some extras. I'm still having some weird material issues on Bryce 7 - where if you have a material in the copy material buffer and you go look at another material, the one in the buffer gets applied to the other object. Annoying, but I can work around it. Ought to report it. Thanks for viewing and commenting! --- The ice moon of Ragnarok looked promising from distant scans. The gas giant's orbit was near the outer edge of its star's habitable zone, and spectroscopic data suggested a mostly nitrogen atmosphere with indications of oxygen. Well the planet was too far out and the moon was too cold. It had a nice thick nitrogen atmosphere alright, but the oxygen was just stray atoms knocked off the water ice that covered the world down eighty kilometers to a crust of slush and rock. Have to admit the world was pretty, especially on a clear day, but it was just another one of those "almost" planets that keeps the Exploratory Service busy following up on survey work. Oh well, at least it's another postcard for the funding and recruiting brochures. -- Alexander Pavl Ross, Field Assistant Deputy Director of Public Relations, Confederation Exploration Service

Cool looking landscape, and as usual, your backstory is just as good if not better than your picture. Nice work!
