Description
This shot was taken at Mesa Verde a few years ago, not too long after a huge fire ravaged the area. These scraggly trees didn't survive, but you can see a hint of the underbrush coming back.
I know this isn't the most exciting image to view, but I liked it because of the spooky look the trees have. This would be a fun place to be on Halloween night.
The image could surely be made to look spookier (a stormy sky would have helped), but I don't know how to "spookify" it in post work. If anyone has any tips or pointers in that regard, please do share.

Jocko500 and myself passed through several burnt areas and amazingly the growth on the forest floor is simply waiting it's chance for sun light.the trees do look spooky

I remember with richardphotos the burn out areas out west. ..these do look spooky aand would make a wonderful background for a poser halloweed image with the great pumpkin king in it. as for the sky it would tak a lot of work but can be done. try the color wand to touch the blue and then delete the blue in the photo. then put the trees in a layer and put a dark sky under the trees and you may have it. of couse you may have to do some touch ups
