Description
The Great Blue Heron. I don't see what's so great about him. I mean, just look at those beady little eyes, those spindly little chicken legs, and that goofy lobster bib he's sporting. This is a Mediocre Blue Heron at best.
He's actually a really calm, graceful bird. He can be found fishing this stream often. If you approach too close, he'll calmly back away, keeping you at a safe distance. When you back away, he'll return to his favored spot.

they are great when they set flight and one can see the "blue" color.actually I read they are not blue but that is how the human eye perceives it.never the less a beautiful shot
