Description

Just so you know you're not alone in your woes I had been working on this wallpaper for several hours and this was my first full sized test render. I saw I'd made a couple of mistakes such as underlighting the left side, which was easy to do when I already had 15 lights set up. I added a light and changed her hair to better show her face and then decided I'd save the scene. Well, who knows what the Hell happened but CRASH... my computer shut down. It restarted on it's own then went through a diskcheck and restarted. I opened DS again and went to open the scene and... NOPE! It didn't want to open, couldn't find files, yadda, yadda, yadda. So this is all I've got for the better part of a day's time spent... the saved scene is junk as was the scene I snagged the girl out of. I guess it's not as bad as having my runtime messed up like your's is (was?) and all my morphs toasted, but it was still a major pisser. I'm in the process of trying to put it all back together. At least I've got a pic I can use as a guide to try and rebuild the scene... *grumble*

Wow, sounds like something that happened to me too recently, lol. Oddly enough I was doing a scene with the BEO2k as well. I had just done a test render in Poser, then bam, crash. Lost the entire scene. All I have is the test render and haven't had the will to set it up again yet. It really is an upsetting thing, but I guess it's nice to know you're not alone Your lighting looks very nice. Hopefully she finds a weak point to shoot at XD

Oh, man. That sux. & yeah. My runtime is still devastated. I sometimes have to add lighting in post work when it just doesn't do it in DAZ. This turned out pretty well, even still. Thanks! ")

Sorry to hear about your woes, it does happen. A very fine composition, the lighting looks awesome and that character is out of this world.

The render is excellent to my eyes. I know the feeling - I have to rescue an save all my files and 3D archives a year ago when Windows Vista terminated to work with DAZ (and all other programs for that matter). So I try to be very carefully but you never know when...So by every step in a scene I save, save - and if I make big changes I save the scene under another name...But if your hear someone scream in the middle of the night it could a unlucky render artist...:o[

Wow, that does suck! DS really needs an auto save feature. Oh well, maybe some day, sigh. Image looks really cool though ;)
