Description

Second time around and it was easier setting it back up then I thought it was going to be, sure helped having a pic... lol. I stayed pretty close to my original idea but did give her a "little" more firepower and changed her hair completely. Oh, and I had to add a couple of more lights... :D CREDITS: Stonemason's 'Dark Star' set, Jepes' very easy-to-use 'SteamZ' (they beat the hell out of painting in PSPXI!) FX, V4 with ThorneWorks 'Fairylicious' morphs and mats, LM's 'Shadow Dancer' clothing (textures from motif) and 'Daria' hair. This time she's armed with Porsimo's freebie 'M150' assault rifle and a grenade from the 'Gear Punk' set. Her nemesis is Mestophales' awsome 'BEO2K10v2' Bot recolored with a couple of different 'Super Shine' shaders. A total of 19 lights going in this one ~ 3 distant lights, 4 spots, and 12 pointlights. I actually enjoy the lighting aspect of DS... yeah, it can take a long time to do but I love it when it all comes together. Total time on this one was 53 minutes, with 36 of it spent on the shadow mapping ~ only 17 and change on the actual render. Done as a wallpaper so it's pretty large but best viewed full size... if you've got the monitor.

Lights can be the biggest challenge in Poser too. I've used so many light products but nothing seemed to please me. Sometimes it helps to just play, trial and error. This is an awesome work you made, so professionally done!

I really enjoy the lighting fun in DAZ too! I have had as many as 24 lights in a scene...lol. A great image here, glad you were able to reconstruct and even improve it!!

indeed jepes steamz and flames are the best.as i am no postworker either. a fine scene you created and it looks in a way as if she blasted a whole into the door, just before the BEO steps out. ps.saw you on porsimos upload already this morning.he also great and generous man.

Excellently done render! Light setting is what makes the differences in a render! I prefer to set my own lightning then it is easier to control the finish. You have done an excellent lightning set up here! ;o)
