Description

No story today with this image. Only that it's another one I've done, that I don't like. It's okay, but it isn't WOW is it? Neither were the last four that I left off doing. This image and those other's I think sucked, are from having a bit of writer's blue. Not block - but blue. My head is jammed packed with stories, and once upon a time, a few years ago, I could have sat and wrote and typed for hours at a time, unable to stop myself I was so eager to get the story told, eager to get to the best parts written, so that I could go back and read them again. Now - everything is the same, but me. The stories are still there, being able to write them is still there - but that eagerly - focused - high concentration - that mad determination to get as much done as possible, is... gone! I need a burst of that something that puts IT back in you when it seems IT is leaving you. I'm getting tired, and the body is too, the neck, the back, the wrist, my eyes, my head - all getting tired of it. Thus... the writer's blue. ||Credits|| Daz Studio Blend of renders and lights Elite Natashe @ Daz3d V4 complete Alicia Hair by Traveler from RDNA

Superb scene - lovely character, pose and lighting. Hope the blues leave you soon -- take some time to smell the roses as they say - I'm trying to get back into it too

I have a friend that calls what you are experiencing "what fall manages to do to some of us". Could be that is all it is Sis. I am feeling something akin to the same. We will get passed it. I love this image. The chick is fine as wine and green scenery is always wonderful. Now how she managed to climb that high is saying plenty. Especially about your brain dear. You crack me up and I love you. Get your behind to writing. I mean it!!!

I think it's a great scene, well constructed. I like how her left side skin moves as though she's actually climbing. Don't concern yourself with your writing muse - it'll be back when you have no time for it. :)

Mercy, just let me say that I for one think you did a wonderful job on this scene. Don't be so hard on yourself hon, as sometimes in our desire for perfection we don't take time to stop and look at the beauty we've created. That is exactly what I see in this image as is your trademark the work you put into it shines. As for the story this is one of those rare images that doesn't really need one, as the moment you look at it your mind is filled with stories and fantasies of your own. Your one of the most talented people I've ever known and trust me this block your experiencing now will be a distant memory soon enough.

I think that this is a fabulous image, super lighting and pose, smashing blending with the photo background too. I'm so sorry to hear about your 'Writer's Blue' Just take it easy don't stress about it and I'm sure it will return if you don't push. I do know what you mean about the neck/back etc., I have the same problem:-( that's really the pits!!

sounds like you've been thinking too much.... when a book/story is created, the author starts out gung ho and just starts writing... there is a point where you hit the breaks, you're in a fork in the road and are getting flashes of story pieces you didn't see coming, you love it, you sit down and think a bit and you realize where you were going with your story has just changed - That's all you're going through, it happens all the time. The other thing, I'd suggest you make a book with a "center" theme with many characters like the movie Crash... you can create a book and shelve it and your mind wond constantly be trying to remember what you need to remember about that character - lol ...As for your picture, It was a wow to me, I read what you said and looked at it, you'r not happy with the right edge - the tree... find a tree with moss and vines on it, paint the righ edge dark and put something dangerous on it - spider? snake? ... give her some blue eyes, a little darker skin, and make her outfit buckskin... maybe drop some color jewels on it. .... I really like your picture, but read what you said... trust me, I got involved in a project I wish I wouldn't of - lol very time consuming, dead line... I've redonea few of the characters after I was happy with them - I went back the next day and said that doesn't look right - lol... hope you get past these speed bumps fast, I know I need too - lol

lets be frank-hehehe:not all the works can be wow otherwise they would not be wow. thats the way i see it-and she loos a bit wow to me nevertheless-lol. well i can understand your feelings,i have not experimented this feelings yet,i only do "art"since 2008 so it might be too early to feel that way. on the other hand in the beginning i was not soo equilibrated handling this gift we have,i tried to hold on onto ideas, now i leave that, unless someone chalenges me and says hey i want this or that scene then i write me down a little details. before i had a to do list for renders. its still there but i dont even look at it as everyday brings me new ideas. when it gets too much i walk away from the pc and watch some crap on tv,after a while it starts there, accumulating scenes in my brains lol.an artists or "art-tit" (my word)life aint easy. keep on going ,its always a pleasure to see and read in your gallerie. i could do a render out of a fart you know.

I know how those "writer's blues" are. I'm just coming out of one myself...can't say anything sparked me out of it; it just happened for me. Hope the same happens for you soon. :) Maybe taking a break from writing for a little while helps...

That face, those eyes, that hair, so appealing! That spear, such a deterrent! Great background, by the way. As for losing the drive to write, well, unless it is necessary financially, I would suggest that you stop doing it... Until you can't NOT do it! The drive will come back in its own time. Until then, I encourage you to pour your creativity into something else... But if you're getting burned out on 3D as well, there could be a problem. Have you tried macrame?

I really like this render!, I also understand:) Ive been doing this for 10 + years. The eyes are feeling it, I try to (When blue) go out side and relate, may sound weird but, I need the time away because, I love what I do and always miss it:) Anyway cheer up, your work is still lovely. CHEERs.
