I had brought the kids to spend a couple weeks with grandma during their summer break 3 months ago. It is not often that the kids get to see grandparents. Between my household and the rest of my family there are thousands of miles. So I thought it a wonderful idea when she suggested having the kids for a couple weeks, so glad she and the kids got that time together. Mom always enjoyed my photography, especially the rainbow images. During my one night stay before flying back to California from bringing the kids to Maine. Mom shared some photos of rainbows captured there over the mountain view from the front deck of her log home. How she loved that sweeping vista, it's ever changing moods, and the lay of the land. This image is taken from a favorite place of mine, only wish I could have shared it with Mom. This morning, unexpectedly Mom completed the cycle of life. This one is in her loving memory.
