Last year I started my third period of photography after fifteen years silence.I began in the analog eighties and took primarily slides with my Pentax MX until it broke. Then, in the early nineties, I started digital photography with a very simple Logitech Fotoman. It was easy to operate because the camera didn't have any features except a flash! The surprise came ofcourse when I first downloaded pictures on my computer. The ease of working digitally convinced me. Still, after a few years, my interest declined.Until last year when I took a chance to work with a compactcamera, seeing other peoples work. In the end I bought a new camera myself. Eversince I can't imagine living without a camera.

Koolhoven also played a role during WWII. He designed and aeroplane what was used as a figther aeroplane by the Dutch air force but was nothing more than an instruction plane. During the five days the Netherlands fought against the Germans, they appeared to be no match for the Messerschmitt Bf109. Nice capture!!
