That's a stunning shot, where did you find these beauties? Mike it looks like an inline 6 to me. In 1935 the old Talbot factory in Suresnes was taken over by Antony Lago who produced racing cars until 1959 when he sold out to Simca.

Thanks! It's apparently a 6 cylinder engine, 240hp. The info said that 'whilst it may look like a twin overhead cam unit the cams are mounted halfway up the block and work through short pushrods to the valves, The drive is taken through a Wilson preselector gearbox which allowed the driver to select a gear then depress the clutch to engage it'. Hope that helps! It's just a private collection that is shown and everyone donates $10 which raises money for charity etc. Heaps more stuff to come!
