Description
The White King
Ah, we draw to near the end of the Chess series with the noble White King. Willing to defend his kingdom with a ready sword and a keen strategy.
This one took FOREVER...the shaders didn't want to work on that blade for love or money (yea, I tried to bribe DAZ...go fig). BUT, the end result, I think, was well worth it!

The inspiration for the Kings and Queens of the set was drawn on by characters from a role play. The White King is the representation of the Starknight. For the others...well, you're just going to have to wait until they're posted to find out who they are *grin*
Thanks again for all the fantastic support and feedback on this series! I have really enjoyed creating it.

Superb work on this entire series, and now we get down to some of the best pieces. Love how Brian came out in this take on the white king, absoltely brilliant! You definately captured his essence. I'd say all your hard work paid off! Can't wait to see the final three up here!

I love the game chess, but to me the King is a panzy ass = lol... he's always running from danger = lol and then when he gets boxed in, the game is called checkmate - instead of "Off with his head" LOL nice series, bring on the queen.

The "royal" arrogance comes across nicely in this piece. Very well done despite the problems with the shadows. (How well I know about those problems with DAZ) Beautifully done.

Well, he may not have much power in chess, but he certainly stands steadfast, strong, and willing to lay down his life for his kingdom. And he may have to, in this game. A handsome king! Well worth all the work that into getting it just right!
