Dordt in Steam is a major international three-day event that takes place every other year in May in the town of Dordrecht(Holland). During the event, many steam engines (steam ships, steam trains, steam carousels, steam rollers, steam tractors and the like) come in action against the background of the historic city. Steam engines are from private collections, foundations and museums at home and abroad. Meanwhile, the event has grown into the one of the largest steam events in Europe, claiming about 250,000 visitors. In 2010 approximately 215,000 people visited the event. Here we see the Burrell Road Locomotive 'His Lordship' from 1913. In my opinion one of the finest pieces at the event.
