Description
Its sat there now for well near 5 year now as well as I was told, sat on a siding that has not been used in a good 20 odd years. It's a rail puller used to pull up old ties and tie plates to make way for new ones. It did its job and then one day the crew of it walked away from the job never to return for what ever reason.
And so it sits year in and year out, open to the elements and what ever, the vines and growth venturing in and over it each you until I suspect it will just be covered over by nature and forgotten.
So there it sits now waiting.....thanks for the peek

for me it is sad to see expensive equipment going to waste.there is so much where ever one goes.

It is a good example of decay of expensive equipment. Decay is as normal as growth. People don't always make the right decisions and here's the result. We'll have to accept we are not perfect...

nice poetic take on that

Amazing how these things happen all over the place. Big pieces of equipment that were really important for performing some special task and then one day, all done. So strange. I'm sure the crew that parked it there had no idea it was the last time. Surely they were thinking they'd be back.
