Description

I've been away for quite a while, things being somewhat crazy in my life this summer. I did manage to find some time to relax (at last) a bit and play with some of my favorite rocks. The largest is around the size of a soccer ball. No glue, strings or Photoshop Tricks (Other than the border and cropping, of course) just gravity and friction. I got some very odd looks from the cars that drove by as I did this, too.

Mike, it's good to see you back!! I can relate, my friend - things here have been a 3-ring circus lately as well. At least you haven't lost your amazing skills with these rocks! This is too cool! We're heading off to Arkansas tomorrow on vacation. If I can find a place with some decent river rocks I might try this just to see if I can manage it... I'll post a photo if I do. All we have around here is limestone, which would be like stacking boxes...

Crazy or not, you're obviously more "balanced" than most.

I know you find this relaxing ... it would make me crazy! LOL! The result is undeniably peaceful, though. Brilliant work with that top rock!

:))) Now, you know that after being away for so long, this is one fantastic welcoming. Ooohh, I'm seriously impressed by this one, particularly the shape of the top one, perched in balance above the rest. These always totally make my day, so I have to thank you (as always). Hope life's treating you gently. A warm hug your way. I'll have to park myself long enough to write you a personal note very soon.
