Description

To offset the most beautiful images of some of our most glorious fungi that others have posted, I thought I'd add this bit of tat from my wild side garden. ^=^ Other than to say it was on the large size I've no idea what it is. All I do know is that I feed the slugs and snails in that bit of garden, so keeping them away from the rest of my wilderness, and so keeping Barney relatively safe from picking up something untoward. I also feed my resident Hedgehog - leastways, I did until he hibernated in his hedgehog house. Now I suppose I shall just have to go back to bucket, collection and walkies to the adjacent meadow! Life is hard! Although, on the bright side, those little slimey beings do get to see more of the world than those that reside in other gardens. They also probably live a whole lot longer! ^=^ It is another glorious day, so it's off again to the beach to get that close up of wasp for Andrea! Yesterday they saw me coming and refused to be drawn out! Today I carry the banana I put in the freezer overnight! Once unpeeled, they will not be able to resist!! Mwahahah! ^=^ Thank you for taking the time to look. ^=^

AH, the things we do for ecology, Carpathia! Yesterday I nearly came a cropper trying to get a pic of the ivy bees colony on the cliff, which I was so excited to find. I had to stand on a seat on the zig-zag and teeter..wooooo! And Fritz noticed every wall-lizard before I could get to it and take pics..he may be short but he is a determined hound.
