Rose said from the Head Science seat,"NO, we can't compensate for the enormous power of the Battleship's Stressed Space effect! Once the Battle-stations goes down, it should work normally. I take it, you didn't get caught?" He said,"Last time I was here, it was adjacent to male's bathroom that was a contraband swapping depot! It hasn't been upgraded. That Inspection Corridor was a run-way of fleet smugglers. They'd be ordering me out if that was the case. That Particle Doorway trick that you and Jeet found will work exactly ONCE. We can jump the ship out-system about two light minutes ONCE, then they come after us... IF they can find us! IF it still works!" Rose nodded."Full ship's power can overcome the Stressed-Space effect for the whole ship, but NOT for one,small person-sized doorway. His plan to hide in the invisible cargo-pod while launching the command-module of the shuttle towards Tapponok has REAL merit. I hate to admit it-- It WOULD trick ME!" Obett said, "I see. Jeet said all that? I knew I liked him. So he left the shuttle WITHOUT EVER leaving the shuttle? Damn, he's like a magician!" Rose said, "We'll see if he pulls this off. The Erhlutian ship just launched AWACs shuttles. They are tracking the command module. Main weapons are charging up." There was a rumble that shook the ship. "They fired! They missed! Unbelievable. Jeet programed in an evasive move. Wait. Charging again, and I bet they take this one seriously..." There were several rumbles this time. Rose said,"Shuttle Command Module completely vaporized that time! I'd say a bit of overkill, that time. They'd have vaporized the Nautilus THAT TIME!" The Red battle-stations lights turned yellow.The air-controller's voice said,"Ragbag, you are clear to leave. DO NOT approach the Starboard side of the ship, or you will be fired on." Obett grinned.
