Things have been hectic in my personal and professional life for the last few weeks so I decided to take a break and spend three days in Las Vegas. I hadn't stayed at the Monte Carlo in a few years so I took advantage of a e-mail offer and booked a room this past Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
I had heard the Monte Carlo had closed their micro-brewery so I was glad to hear on checking in that it had been reopened as a brew pub. Offering 80 brews on tap and an excellent selection of food the Pub became my anchor stop during my visit.

I have to admit I'd not heard the term micro brew before, but after looking it up I realise it is simply a small brewery specialising in good beers. Cornwall is renowned for these, the local brewery making most of the beer served in the Inns here. I don't drink, but I'm sure those that do favour them. A fabulous shot, so full of colour and perfect reflection. ^=^ I wish you calmer waters in your personal and professional life. ^=^

I agree it's a fantastic shot.... But I wouldn't know anything about beer or wine for that matter I am 56yrs old and had only a half beer my entire life....and had helped some high school girlfriends drink Boone's Farm Wine......one night..It tasted so so..What got me turned against it was one night I got a bottle of Mad Dog 20 20 got deathly sick and upchucked on my parents bed while trying to sneak in...and it wasn't a pretty site at 2 30 am in the morning LOL........So I don't drink....but used to smoke up weed like crazy grin then quit that after a cop pulled over hubby and there in the ashytray was half joint......he got a ticket... and we quit that.......Now hubby really likes beer...excepts he doesn't drink anymore...he has over 2 yrs clean in AA...I guess we are the dull family LOL.. I am addicted to my soft drink Ski...sort of like Mellow Yellow only better...have to have one when I get up...a Ski and a smoke.........let me wake up for about half hour than I get to motivating........no Ski,no smoke oh Lord watch out..........next week nothing by mouth after midnight for a Pet Scan I will be bonkers the test isn't until 2am..........and no food or drink before hand............Bleh:(Why he is ordering this is beyond me...he says to check on my anemia,,,and my weight loss where I got down to 94 lbs 2 months ago...but it also checks for cancer way better than a bone scan..........gonna be a long day............. Glad you got to get a little free time for yourself and even enjoyed the stay and the brewskies at the Pub... You have deserved it......... Great capture...love all the colors..I know I would love Vegas....I would get addicted to the gambling for sure.........playing the slot machines would be my thing as I don't know too much about cards......I know what a Royal Flush is tho,straight,and pair LOL........Would love to go to Vegas to see Chris Angel...maybe check out a show or two...but would have to fly and I have never been on a plane so I would be scared witless........So it would have to be car,limo,taxi, buggy ride, or train for this old fashioned gal....
