Yes, I havent at all finnished this series yet. Still many of them to share from the september folder. I believe this is a "Lactarius acerrimus" or what do you think?

WOW! The things I miss when I am unable to browse as much as I want to! WOW! This is gorgeous; and I always look forward to your shroom shots too. I've never seen this species before and so it's an extra treat for me. I love those gills and the fact that the cap looks more like an air filter or something than a part of a fungus' anatomy. What a gorgeous shot. I love this! Corey is next to me and he sees it too. Here's his comment as he recites it to me: "This looks really big and impressive and I love the low POV that you have. Great light and colors. Very nice!" When Corey's better and has more energy, he'll be commenting more, but now he's just looking over my shoulder and doing his doctor-recommended lung exercises since. However, I think really nice shroom-pics will help with healing.
