Light programmer and professional 3D designer working out of Alaska.
I tend to be pretty extreme and enjoy sea kayaking, glacier skirting, freestyle mountain climbing, cross country cycling, as well as more solitary endeavors such as creative & technical writing, sound synthesis, and the various aspects of 3D design. Suck at sketching, though.
I've transitioned through several 3D programs over the years: starting with Rhino 2.0, then moving on to Cinema 4D, and currently working with Maya.

Okay, for some reason I can't seem to upload the wallpaper image to my gallery only, instead it posts it there and to the Bryce gallery. Is there any way around this?

Ok... this I like allot. The question is how did you get the fire in there while rendering? You've got a nice fire reflection going that really looks nice. Great render.

The fire effect was actually made by creating rocks and then applying a fire material to them (in Edit>Materials>Complex FX>Fire). The nice glow on the water is actually was made using the Take Me There preset sky, with some tampering with the atmospheric look and -very- careful placing of the sun to where you see it now(Sky&Fog>Take Me There!). Hope that helps!
