Description
Walnut trees and squirrels generally go together and ours is no exception. Bumper harvest this year and it had to be shared out as usual. 'Tree rats' some people call them. Live and let live I say. Part of country living. They do little harm in our garden, and they can be fascinating to watch. They have a hard life, particularly in the long cold winters we are getting, no wonder they want to set up a store.

That's a great squirrel shot! I love squirrels, too. We have them in our walnut trees, but I don't get to enjoy them much any more because my Jack Russell Terrier wants to irradicate them.
