Description

Whoo, a new subject! Meet my mate Tash, the world's most photogenic electrical engineer. Now, I know what you're thinking.... "Aha! I've found his secret - he can't deal with names more than 4 letters long!" But you'd be wrong, since I'm Chris, and I deal with that every day ;o) In all seriousness, though, the 70-200mm F/4L is proving itself a stunning portrait lens. I was hugely torn between this version of the image and the untouched original - I liked both, but it was this jazzy vintage one that I first tried whacking a frame around. Your comments and criticisms are always appreciated! Cheers!

@efron_241 - actually, I barely touched this one - saturation, curves and crop. a little chroma noise reduction in the raw conversion. The smoothness is just makeup, whatever she was wearing on the day (this was a candid shot before a party, so probably a little more makeup than usual)

She's got such a fresh and honest face. Open and fun-loving. Your portrait work is wonderful and retains all of those marvelous qualities.

Wow, she's a stunner! Wish she had been in my classes; to see that smile would have made any class better!

Smashing result. I tried my 50-200mm lens on a portait recently. Very pleasantly surprised!
