'WITCH'S APPRENTICE' It looks better on *ZOOM* ... Hi Guys, It is so good to be back, and I have lots to say so I will split it all up and you can read whatever you want to, if you have time. SPECIAL THANKS TO LEILANA For all my cute gifts and for the cute witch seen in this picture. Take a look at her gallery ' Leilana ' here on Rendo, if you haven't before you are in for a wonderful surprise, her cute characters just make the heart melt. JaneEden - BACKGROUND I made the background, including cell doors, the lights and chains, the walls and floor etc. Ceiling was from Schonee's Witch cottage fabulous backgrounds. All worked using PS CS4 and PS ELEMENTS 8 PHOTOGRAPHY Of my Freddie Cat with my Finepix S5000 STORY AND POEM FOR 'WITCH'S APPRENTICE' - The little troll witch left the cat and her crow looking at the cauldron that was simmering nicely after her spells had been cast. She was making skull, eyeball, and pumpkin stew, a tasty little witch's brew, that she was going to enjoy on her return from her travels scaring everyone on Halloween night. She never imagined that one bored cat would decide to borrow her Sunday hat and proceed in casting his own spells that Halloween night!! Read on my friends ... 'So it happened one halloween night that one little cat had quite a fright after reading the witch's cookery spell book, he decided that yes he thought he could cook! In the cauldron were skulls, eyeballs, and pumpkin but the cat and the crow saw nothing was happening! So our little cat decided to cast a few spells the witch's staff he enchanted to stir the stew well. Round and round it stirred food that night but then, oh dear! it did not look right! The witch returned, saw her cat, and then sighed, funny she thought that he was transfixed by escaped eyes! They popped and bounced trying to leave that stew, so the witch cast a spell which was the best thing to do. A lesson was learnt that night by one silly cat, that in future he would not interfere, and that was that ...HAPPY HALLOWEEN SEASON MY FRIENDS. MY ACCIDENT NEWS AND APOLOGIES ... So sorry I have not been around for a couple of weeks to visit your galleries, but I had an accident! I was on the phone with my daughter when my office chair which is supposed to tilt back and stop, kept going and I crashed my head on the edge of a small cupboard as I fell with the chair to the ground. My daughter and my son in law rushed around to my house and I was still on the floor with 5 worried pets looking down on me, and they had never left my side in that time. I felt quite ill so an ambulance was called the paramedics decided to take me to hospital. I was diagnosed with concussion but allowed home because my daughter was going to sleep over with me. Unfortunately the doctors found I had a heart murmur to add to the other stuff wrong with me (ok so I am greedy lol). So I have been feeling poorly for a couple of weeks, but also awaiting a new office chair so that I can sit at my computer in some comfort. My daughter as always has been an angel, and she and my wonderful son in law went to get me my new chair yesterday, so here I am back with you all, and I did miss you so much. THANK YOU ALL - 'THE LITTLE LANTERN CARRIER' Thank you so much for all your wonderful and inspirational comments on The Little Lantern Carrier, I was overwhelmed by your generosity. Thank you for all the faves and to those who felt me good enough to add to their favourite artists. Take good care of yourselves, it is so good to be back, love and hugs Jane xx Thank you for visiting my gallery, and enjoy what you see, but please respect my copyright ©2010 JaneEden thank you.

Sis, this is such a treat for me and warmed my heart on this cold morning here. What a lovely image, and I was so blown away by the beautiful background image you created that is so filled with magical details. Those cell doors couldn't be more perfect for this scene and I love the cool lights and chains. The story and poem were such a delight, and I loved the lesson learned by the cat. Once more let me tell you how sorry I am about your accident, and praise God you are home and getting better at last. Big hugs

I'm so sorry you got hurt; bumps on the head hurt and that must have been a scary fall. I hope you have no trouble with your heart; you have a sweet heart and I would hate to see you unwell. take care!

Fantastic Halloween image and a humorous poem to go with it! :D I'm sorry to hear you had a spill and hope you are much better now. I've had that little mishap myself. The trick is not to have anything behind your office chair to hit strike your noggin on! ;)
