My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Sorry I don't comment on your work more often... no excuses, just time. :-) I love the zerk fittings as I appreciate the need and would like to have some installed on ME. Great photo.

In my early days I've sailed the seven seas in the engine room, same machine, but a lot bigger. Wonderful photo! RS

Wow - what a beautiful shot, Tara! Yep - just because one is older, doesn't mean you can't get the ol' engine started and head for the clouds! Thank you so much for the wonderful birthday gift! I love it! Now, I've gotta go to work - what a bummer..... :-P hugs, Rod :-D

WOW! This is amazing! At first glance I thought it was something musical in nature: the Saxophone parts or something. I love the metal, the light (its dreamy) and again, it's a part of something that really gives a bit of insight into the whole, without ever once revealing the whole. This image is like good writing in that it allows a thing to unfold in easily-managed pieces. Our brains get to absorb the essential qualities of this flying contraption before being confronted with the flying contraption itself. For me, that's an extremely interesting, extremely brilliant thing; good visual art is like good writing, and good writing is like learning something new, but having that knowledge sneak up on you and sink in before you've had a chance to recoil and chafe...especially since aviation is something that a lot of people might not find "interesting." It's like a conversation I had with Corey. "Cars for me, are like toilets: vital to modern human life, but not something I'd form an emotional attachment to, no matter what they're made of or how they look. They're tools." Of course, that's all a matter of taste and preference, since woodlice are like well...bugs, in that they're little and easy to step on, but not necessarily something that would draw someone's attention as "fun" or even "valid." Again, bravo on a marvelous piece of work. It's an excellent birthday dedication as well.
