Description

It is real bad weather in the Netherlands now; much rain an pretty cold so I will post one of my memories of last summer. The subject is called the 'Ammerse Boezem' and it is part of a region called the 'Alblasserwaard'. Some of you will perhaps think: 'Oh my...' that's the place I visited this year because of the mills of Kinderdijk. And that's correct. Kinderdijk is about 20 kilometers west of this 'Ammerse Boezem'. By the way : A 'Boezem' is a piece of water meant to temporarily store water from the lowlands before it is pumped into a river. In this case the river 'Lek' is only a few kilometers in the background.

wonderful capture! very sharp, great composition. prachtige weergave van het typisch hollandse landschap. de foto die ik gisteren geupload heb zou inderdaad een lelie kunnen zijn, maar ik weet het niet zeker. :)
